A bicycle dynamo engaged with a rubber belt on wheel with a handle to rotate it with free movement. The output voltage from dynamo directly comes out from two 4mm sockets and a torch bulb 3.5V fitted in a MES bulb holder which is used to demonstrate the generation of electrical energy from the dynamo. Maximum output from the dynamo is 6V/3W.
Features
It can be used to show the conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy and then to electrical energy. The apparatus typically includes a flywheel, a motor/generator, and a lamp unit. When the flywheel is spun, it drives the dynamo (generator) which in turn lights the lamp, demonstrating how mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy. It can also be used to show the reverse process, where electrical energy is converted to kinetic energy.
