This IR (Infrared) sensor tuned to 38KHz, perfect for receiving commands from a TV remote control or another IR transmitter. Add this to your microcontroller to start receiving commands from an IR source! Onboard LED allows for easy debugging to see if signal is received.
The module doesn't do any decoding of the signal, just passes the 'raw data' along.
