Description
The RedBoard Artemis ATP is affectionately known at SparkFun as "All the Pins" because it does exactly what the name implies: it breaks out all 48 GPIOs of the Artemis module in a familiar Mega-like form factor! With 1MB flash, 384k RAM, and a 48MHz Cortex-M4F (with 96MHz turbo), this board is the ultimate platform for users who need to leverage every ounce of the module's connectivity. If you need a massive amount of I/O with a simple-to-program, market-ready architecture, the ATP is the solution.
Ease of Use
Like the Artemis RedBoard, the ATP features improved power conditioning and robust USB-to-serial conversion to ensure that "time-to-first-blink" is less than five minutes:
Arduino Core: We wrote the core from scratch to be lightweight and fast, making programming the Artemis as familiar as typing Serial.begin(9600) in the Arduino IDE.
Modern Connections: Includes a reversible USB-C connector for easy programming and a Qwiic connector for instant, solder-free I2C sensor integration.
Intelligent Pin Mapping
You might've noticed that the silkscreen labels look a bit different, and that's by design! Instead of arbitrary Arduino PINs, we labeled the pins to match their assignments on the Apollo3 IC. This makes it incredibly easy to find the specific pins needed for advanced functions, such as:
4-bit SPI: Easily locate pins 4, 22, 23, and 26.
Differential ADC: Quickly identify port 1 on pins 14 and 15.
Have a look at the full pin map from the Apollo3 datasheet. You'll see precisely why we laid everything out as we did.
Machine Learning & Advanced Features
The ATP has been built to help you explore the cutting edge of embedded development and low-power machine learning:
Voice & AI Ready: An onboard digital MEMS microphone allows you to experiment with always-on voice commands and TensorFlow Lite machine learning models right out of the box.
Pro-Level Tools: We’ve exposed the JTAG connector for professional debugging and added a convenient jumper to measure current consumption for low-power optimization.
Low-Power Flexibility: To fully test the module's efficiency, we included a footprint for a 20mm coin-cell holder (CR2032). When properly isolated, the Artemis can run for weeks on a single battery!
The SparkFun RedBoard Artemis ATP is the definitive platform for testing the full capabilities of the Artemis module without compromise.
