Description
The Creality CR-20 hotend kit is a replacement and upgrade part for the Creality CR-20 series of 3D printers, but is also compatible with other similar models like the Ender-3 and CR-10. The kit melts and extrudes filament through its nozzle to create 3D prints.
Features
- Heater block: A solid aluminum block that holds and heats the nozzle and heat break.
24V heater cartridge: The heating element that brings the heater block up to the required printing temperature.
- Thermistor: A temperature sensor that provides accurate readings to the printer's mainboard.
- Heat break: A tube that separates the hot end from the cooling section (heatsink) to create a distinct "melt zone".
- Heatsink: A finned aluminum block that dissipates heat from the cold end to prevent filament from melting prematurely.
- 0.4mm nozzle: The standard brass nozzle for extruding 1.75mm filament.
- PTFE tubing: The flexible Bowden tubing that guides the filament from the extruder to the hotend.
- Silicone sock: A sock that insulates the heater block, which improves temperature stability and prevents plastic from sticking to it.
- Fittings and clips: Hardware for securing the Bowden tubing.
