Converts muscular energy to other forms of energy. 75 mm diameter hand cranked pulley with rubber belt to drive a small pulley of 20 mm diameter to which a drive output pulley is directly attached. Pulley shafts are mounted in bearings on aluminium casting, on standard base.
Features
Hand-cranked large pulley (75 mm diameter): Allows the user to supply mechanical energy manually (muscular input). Rubber belt drive to smaller pulley (20 mm diameter): Provides mechanical gearing or speed conversion. The drive sequence: 75 mm wheel ? rubber belt ? 20 mm small pulley ? output pulley. Drive-output pulley: After the small pulley, there is a drive-output pulley which can be connected to other mechanical experiments or setups. Bearings & aluminium casting: The shafting/pulleys are mounted in bearings (ensures smooth rotation) and supported on an aluminium casting base (stable, durable). Standard base for mounting: The device comes on a base suitable for lab bench mounting. Manual energy conversion: It is designed to convert manual mechanical input into usable rotational output – useful for experiments involving mechanical power, speed/torque trade-offs, belt drives, pulley systems.
