Description
This is a ready-to-use mini LED traffic light that is easy to wire and easy to control. You have only 4 pins, one for GND, one for red, one for yellow, and one for green.
Features
- The traffic light module is compact in size and easy to install.
- It usually includes large LEDs, typically 8mm in size, for better visibility.
- The LEDs are often active HIGH, meaning they are lit when a logic HIGH signal is applied to the module’s pins.
- Built-in current limiting resistors ensure that the LEDs receive the appropriate amount of current.
- The module is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V systems, making it versatile for different microcontroller platforms.
- Some modules can be connected to the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) pin of a microcontroller to control the brightness of the LEDs.
- The module can be directly connected to the pins of an MCU or plugged into the female header of Arduino boards.
