Description
This is a galvanic probe with temperature compensation (5°C to 40°C).
It consists of a cell with a lead anode and a gold cathode, with a specific acid electrolyte. (Electrolyte: acetic acid, pH 6).
Oxygen diffuses through a non-porous Teflon membrane and is then reduced at the cathode. The current between the electrodes is therefore proportional to the O2 concentration in the medium. Voltage changes correspond to variations in [O2].
Features
- Temperature-compensated galvanic probe.
- The end of the probe is protected by an anti-shock grid.
- Waterproof probe that can be submerged.
- Adjustment without calibration solution.
- No membrane to change or special maintenance.
- Works with sensor ref. 482 106 or 472 007.
- Lifespan of approximately 5 years.
