Description
Parafilm® M is a versatile sealing film used in laboratories to protect samples and containers from moisture loss, contamination, and evaporation. It is flexible, self-sealing, and conforms to irregular surfaces, making it ideal for sealing:
- Test tubes, beakers, flasks, petri dishes
- Culture plates and reagent bottles
- Pipette tips and other labware
It stretches up to 200% of its original length and forms an airtight seal without adhesives. The film is odorless, semi-transparent, and gas permeable, allowing limited exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide while retaining moisture.
