This RP-SMA to U.FL Cable is commonly used to connect boards with the compact U.FL connector to an enclosure wall. This allows an external antenna to be attached. What makes this unassuming cable special is the slightly longer length of 150mm (compared to 100mm). We found that the extra 50mm makes all the difference when working with an enclosure.
Please double check that your connecting antenna does not have a center pin to connect with this RP-SMA connector. RP-SMA connectors are most commonly used for connecting WiFi and Bluetooth 2.4GHz antennas. See the U.FL to SMA cable for use with GPS and other SMA antennas.
