Description

The RedBoard Artemis Nano is a minimal, lightweight implementation of the Artemis module, designed for the smallest projects. We like to joke and say it represents "party in the front, business in the back!" All the essential LEDs, labels, connectors, and buttons are accessible on the top side for the best user experience, while the supporting circuitry is tucked away in the rear to save space. Don't let the size fool you, the Nano packs the same 1MB Flash, 384k RAM, and 48MHz Cortex-M4F (with 96MHz turbo) as our other Artemis boards, delivering full BLE 5.0 capabilities in a fraction of the footprint.

Ease of Use
Just like the Artemis RedBoard, we designed the Nano to ensure that "time-to-first-blink" is less than five minutes:

Arduino Core: We wrote the core from scratch to be lightweight and fast, making programming the Artemis as familiar as typing Serial.begin(9600) in the Arduino IDE.
Modern Connections: Includes a reversible USB-C connector for easy programming and a Qwiic connector for instant, solder-free I2C sensor integration.
Intelligent Layout
To make integration as easy as possible in tight spaces, this board utilizes a thin 0.8mm PCB and a clever pin configuration that balances breadboard compatibility with practical wiring needs:

Dual Ground Rows: A secondary row of ground connections makes it easy to wire multiple buttons and LEDs without competing for a standard ground pin.
LiPo Ready: Features a built-in LiPo battery charging circuit, making it a self-sufficient solution for wearables or remote sensors.
Machine Learning & Advanced Features
Beyond the basics, the Nano is packed with features to help you explore the cutting edge of embedded development:

Voice & AI Ready: An onboard digital MEMS microphone allows you to experiment with always-on voice commands and TensorFlow Lite machine learning models right out of the box.
Pro-Level Tools: For advanced users, we’ve exposed the JTAG connector for professional debugging, enabling you to leverage the power and speed of professional-grade tools.
If you are looking for a simple, cost-effective board to replace your aging Arduino Nano, shoot for the moon and upgrade to Artemis.
